How do I correct mistakes made while filling out the fee payment form?

No correction required for the fee payment form i.e. Step - I. Please ensure all details are accurate while processing Online Registration for GSET i.e. STEP - II.

I have paid fee twice/multiple — when will I get a refund?

Fee once paid is not refundable but In case of multiple successful payments only, the GSET office will initiate a refund process within 28 working days after receipt of the request from a candidate's Registered Email. The decision of the GSET office is final and binding for accepting or rejecting refund requests.

Transaction failed — when will I get a refund?

Refunds for failed transactions are processed by the bank and may take 21–45 working days. If it takes longer, contact your bank to raise a dispute; the GSET office does not manually credit such refunds because GSET has not received the funds for failed transaction.

I paid the fee but cannot log in — what should I do?

First confirm payment status via the Transaction Status link on the website. Clear your browser cache/cookies, try again on a desktop or laptop computer. Sometimes it may take 24 to 48 hours for the system to update.

How do I correct mistakes in my Final Registration form (Name, DOB, Father's Name, Mother's Name etc.)?

If you discover an error after submission of STEP - II, send correction email info@gujaratset.ac.in from your registered email. Include your Registration Number, the incorrect field, the corrected value. After verification we will update the record within 5-7 working days and you can reprint the corrected form from Step-2.

Which Reservation certificate is accepted — English or Gujarati?

Both English and Gujarati versions are accepted as long as the certificate is valid (not expired) and issued by the competent authority from Gujarat State only.

The percentage field in the portal won't accept decimals — what should I enter?

Enter the value in the format permitted by the portal (for example round to the nearest whole number).

Portal is not accepting my Master's degree option for subject I choose. What should I do?

Choose 'Other Equivalent Degree' option available in portal.

Are professional qualifications (CA, CS, CMA/ICWA) treated as equivalent to a Master's degree?

Yes — recognized professional qualifications are considered equivalent for eligibility purposes. Candidates must still meet the minimum marks requirement (55%).

My university uses CGPA — how do I calculate equivalent percentage?

Check for your university's grading/conversion scale document showing how CGPA maps to percentage. Get the percentage calculation formula from your university's official sources.

My Registration Form shows "No Info" or "No Image Available" or "Incomplete Registrations" — how can I fix this?

Download the Registration Form PDF, print and fill any missing details, attach a passport-size photo, scan the completed form, and email it to info@gujaratset.ac.in. The team will process corrections on their end.

Can I appear for the exam in a different subject other than my Master's degree / Post Graduate degree subject?

You may appear for GSET Examination in subject of your choice but GSET / UGC will not be responsible , In case, when an organization doesnot consider or reject your application for Assistant Professor or Ph.D. for the subject.
